As many, Claude till i die.
Well, I use Muse for two months now and this month I even cancelled my Claude subscription.
No, not because it was better, and it was also not about the 14,- subscription that Muse costs (did not reach a limit yet, i have no idea what is going on).
It is about speed. I once claimed, if Claude was five times slower, it was still blazing fast. There is no reason why software development should be so fast. That was always a thinking error on the first place. We should not develop software faster, but slower. There are many signals for that.
So, I was very wrong. Having blazing fast AI is just, AWESOME. You know, my projects many times did have the small things that i never wanted to work on. Because, it was so freaking slow and blablabla. It was just a terrible Developer Experience.
But now, with Meta Muse, i do literally all the small things, and those actually finish your application. That is the difference between total slop and a quality product.
And the quality, do not get distracted by the sad, sad benchmarks. But even if you would get distracted by it, you'll see that Muse is doing great!
So, two months in, not nailed once so far.
A serious advice, you need to experience it to feel the benefit. Just fucking invest that 14,- for a freaking top notch developer experience. I ensure, you'll love it and you will go full ninja on the small things for once.
Also, regarding big projects, Muse has no problem to just continue working two hours straight. But, I think for stuff like that Claude is probably still the better choice.
But time will tell. Muse is relatively new. But underrated.
