Really awesome automation with agents and orgistration
Is easy to do and easy to monitor when you do it with tmux. Let your application create a new session for it's collection of agents and give every agent it's own window. From here, monitoring is extremely simple. Especially since tmux command line tools for everything you can do with it basically. So you could even do this in bash. (Well Netikras wrote a full functioning http server in bash and an gpt forum bot, so basically everything is possible).
But, if you have just your orxhistration bot that can only launch agents (i hate the word subagents), read agents, kill agents and read files and fetch pages everything will be awesome from there.
Checking up on agents, do this with scheduled asyncio tasks and so on - competely outside of the llm flow. It will spare your money and ensures stability.
But these days it is not a big problem to genereate an agent or harness, the AI is able to do it, but still, I wasted a lot of time to get it really good. The agent of my xc language is not self written because i couldn't compete with the muse agent, it was too good. I did not try the one of deepseek yet, but besides that, i tried all common ones. Deepseek is most customizable. But at that point, what about just making one yourself from scratch?
Do not underestimate the pain of a tui. Do not forget, you need a sticky textbox in te bottom, above that a section that should scroll and some tasklist in the middle. And when you have done all taht, you find out that you never can select your text. Yeah, that will take a few hours too. I made a perfect claude clone but without the flickering issues and ZERO cpu usage. They could learn from that. I wrote my Claude clone in Nim.
